PTFE has good overall performance such as heat or cold resistance, corrosion-resistance, non-adhesiveness, self-lubrication, good dielectricity, and low friction coefficient. However, compared with other plastics, its mechanical performance is not good in low abrasion and creep resistance, low hardness. Mechanical performance can be greatly improved and other good property of PTFE is maintained by adding to PTFE filler which can stand PTFE sinter temperature (360℃-380℃). Fillers can be glass fiber, metal, metal oxide, graphite, MoS2, carbon fiber, polyamide.
Characteristic of the products
Enhanced PTFE product has strong corrosion-resistance and friction-resistance. By adding filler such as glass fiber, carbon fiber, copper powder, graphite, asbestos, MOS2, AL2O3, carbon powder, ceramic fiber, metal powder, polyamide, PS, hardness, compression strength and abrasion-resistance of the product is improved. In addition, it will have good heat conductivity and low heat expansion coefficient.
Use of the products
As enhanced product has good corrosion-resistance, low friction and good hardness, it is widely used for the production of washer, valve, bearing, slide, piston ring, insulating sleeve, and self-lubricating seal.
